I am a journalist in London, Britain, who believes that women who fall in love with men on Death Row do not get the respect, support and understanding they deserve.
I think families and friends often fail to understand these deep and genuine relationships and that the media often merely ridicules them. I believe this needs to be put right - but I need the help of a community of women who live near the prisons where their loved ones are incarcerated. I want to write a story about a strong, positive and proactive community of women support their men and help each other, often in the teeth of great difficulty. Ultimately, my story will be about believing in ourselves and in others. It will be about the power of love and the power we all have to follow our hearts. I do hope you can help me.
